The County Treasurer’s primary function is the collection and distribution of property taxes and the investment and reconciliation of all County funds.
The Public Trustee’s primary function is the execution of Releases of Deeds of Trust and processing foreclosures.
The Prowers County Public Trustee’s Office does accept Releases of Deeds of Trust electronically. Foreclosure sales are held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and foreclosure notices are published on Wednesdays in the Prowers Journal.
